The CRISSTL Ball™
is a rugged, light weight, baseball sized unit that can be thrown to remotely
provide real-time visual situation awareness of its surroundings in all
directions simultaneously. The unit integrates hemispherical imaging optics with
a wireless transmitter and power supply in a 3.8” diameter ball to transmit live
video to a hand-held receiver/display unit. The package is hardened to withstand
shock and is self-righting when landing on any type of surface. The CRISSTL Ball™
is ideal to visualize interior rooms, hallways, and stairwells; as well as
unsecure exterior areas. The unit
has situational awareness application for military, law enforcement, SWAT,
corrections and search and rescue operations.
